Course to be delivered via dialectical teaching, live demonstration, group practice, peer discussions and coaching.
Course Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Deconstruct the 7-Eyed Model into a practical, solo-reflection framework for daily casework.
Identify hidden “blind spots” by systematically shifting between the seven lenses, from client data to personal emotional responses.
Cultivate an “Internal Supervisor” to sharpen clinical intuition and maintain professional objectivity outside of formal supervision.
Analyse systemic influences—including organizational policies and cultural contexts—to better understand their impact on the client-worker relationship.
Mitigate compassion fatigue by recognizing “parallel processes” and emotional triggers before they lead to burnout.
Apply the framework to active cases to generate fresh interventions and move past professional “stuckness.”
Medium of Instruction & Trainer
Chan Earng Han holds a Master of Social Science (Counselling) from Edith Cowan University (Australia) and a Master in Counselling from Sioux Falls Seminary (United States of America).
He is a well sought-after Trainer cum Counsellor. His passion in working with youth led him to attain his Graduate Diploma in Youth Work from Edith Cowan University (Australia).
He specialises in counselling young people and families who have committed petty crimes, struggled with sexuality and mental health issues including having suicidal thoughts & intent.
Earng Han is also trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and he utilises Systemic lens in conceptualising problems faced by individuals and families.
He is now an Independent Practitioner & Associate Trainer with AHD.
