This course is a follow up from Certificate in Practical Counselling (Basic). This is designed for trainees who are keen to further equipped themselves with concepts and skills pertaining to effective interviews and counseling to have a more complete understanding in counselling. Micro-skills such as attending behavior, client observation skills, reflection of feelings, focusing and influencing skills will be introduced.

Certification Obtained and Conferred by

Participants who meet 80% class attendance will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment by the Academy of Human Development.


Pre-requisites

Pre-requisite: Participants must have completed the Certificate in Practical Counselling (Basic), awarded by Academy of Human Development and Fei Yue Community Services, or equivalent.
