本课程适用于帮助年长者的人，包括社工助理、乐龄活动中心活动执行员、护士、护士长、专职保健治疗师、看护者、家庭帮佣、志愿者以及刚开始照顾年长者的新手。
(Learners should be able to listen to, speak, read and write Chinese at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 and use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 3. )

Ms Ngiow May Lee is a Certified Behavioral Consultant and Family Life Educator with 15 to 20 years of rich experience. Her primary focus has been on developing and implementing Mandarin training programs during her tenure at Fei Yue Family Central.
Utilizing her extensive background in parenting and family life, Ms. Ngiow applies her expertise across diverse demographic groups. Her attunement to the senior community led to her invitation to teach Befrienders at Fei Yue Senior Activity Centre on rapport building techniques with senior between 2017 and 2019.
Her forte lies in imparting practical, real-life knowledge. She adeptly connects theoretical concepts to everyday situations, empowering learners to grasp and effectively utilize these teachings. Her students greatly benefit from this approach, gaining practical insights that significantly enhance their understanding and real-life application of the material.
