Course Overview

In recent years, there have been an increasing number of courses that specialise in preparing and training individuals to be professional and para-professional people helpers, especially in the area of counselling. However, case management has been a missing component in a number of these courses.

The benefits of case management could be applied to various settings, for example, social service agencies, community organisations, educational institutions, religious organisations, etc. As such, the skills of case management can serve to promote the multi-pronged approach to people helping.
